UMA WANG

Uma Wang launched her eponymous label in 2005. A graduate of the China Textile University in Shanghai and Central Saint Martin’s in London, Wang worked for different Chinese fashion houses while refining her skills in crafting textiles and patterns. Her creations often reference ancient history in colors, motifs, and styles, but their inventive shapes, original proportions, and unexpected cuts keep them contemporary. Wang has received the Audi Progressive Designer Award, the CCDC Best Designer Award, and the Shanghai Fashion Week Award.
