Issey Miyake started releasing bags under the Pleats Please brand in 2000, and as its own Bao Bao brand in 2010. With triangular shapes that rearrange in infinite geometries with each movement, these flexible bags draw from extensive technical research. Bao Bao offers traditional bags, but also totes, backpacks, and small shoulder bags, in black, gray, and white, but also primary colors and patterned styles.
