Chris Leba founded R13 in New York in 2009. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Leba worked at well-known American fashion houses, including Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle Outfitters, and Polo Ralph Lauren. Drawing from that experience, he created the brand to pay homage to the rebellious and provocative spirit of the American underground with reinterpretations of staples like the motorcycle jacket, the cowboy boot, and the jeans. R13’s rugged pieces of leather and denim age well and gain new traits with time.
